JAKARTA -- Juara bertahan Manchester City mengunci gelar juara Liga Inggris di laga terakhir, setelah menang 3-1 atas West Ham United pada Minggu (19/5/2024) malam.

Man City menutup musim 2023/2024 dengan berada di pucuk klasemen berkat koleksi 91 poin. The Citizens unggul dua poin atas pesaing terdekat sekaligus tim peringkat kedua, Arsenal, yang memiliki total 89 poin.

Liverpool yang memainkan laga perpisahan dengan pelatih kharismatiknya, Juergen Klopp, kokoh di posisi ketiga dengan 82 poin. The Reds menang 2-0 atas tamunya Wolverhampton Wanderers pada laga terakhir musim ini.

Sedangkan satu posisi Liga Champions lain berhasil diamankan Aston Villa yang berada di posisi keempat dengan 68 poin.

Dua slot kompetisi Eropa tersisa menjadi milik klub-klub London.
